It's very popular here. No one tries to enforce it, the administrators just act like they do for kicks, but no one truly cares. And just about everyone does it.

I think you're misunderstanding what I'm trying to say here.
1) The dancing isn't one-sided. I enjoy a bit of intimacy as much as anyone.
2) The guys I dance with are my friends, who respect me for who I am. I do not dance with guys who only see me as another piece of ass.
3) I have no delusions of 'popularity'; in fact, last time I cared about that kind of thing was in middle school.
4) It's not serious. We laugh about it.
It's only degrading if the girl is only doing it to please the guy, or because she doesn't know how to say no.
(edit: this was in response to citygirlsmom's post)

I agree with your point.

thisyearsgirl, those are good points. i only dance like that with a girl if i'm completely sure she's comfortable with it.

When i want to dance with a girl i innitiate the dancing but wait for her to innitiate the "freak" part of it (ei. i wait for her to put her.. hmmm.. there before i will grind with her)

lol, this is funny, well yeah grinding does happend at my school, everyone does it, well not every1 but a large amount. What really gets to me is why does the girl have to do everything, i mean seriously, why can't the guy be the one doing it, all the guy does is stand on back and move front and back holds on to the waist and that's pretty much it!.While the girl attemps to get him hard. It really makes no sense, next time why doesn't the girl be the one in back and guy in front. lol,

i call it dirty dancing... its also known as bump and grind

Could someone explain what is the difference between freak dancing and grinding? Is it the distance between partners? Thanks.

i would say they are the same but taht is just i guess i am not a dancing expert

hahaha i never knew it was called freak dancing. lol we call it grinding here. it happens all the time, people get over it if they dont like it.
