Isn't it ironic how limewire is used to downlaod ilegal music and software and games and stuff... and then they have limewire pro that is suppose to cost you 40 buck, but hten, you can download the pro version for free on LIMEWIRE?

Very ineteresting. :] Download Ares. They're good. :[ i can't download anymore. ^^; I have MAC computer. :P Don't wanna pay for Itunes.

lol thats funny...

i use bearshare

It's ironic but not all that surprising. Kazaa Lite (Resurrection) is extremely popular on the FastTrack network.

Backfired lol....

P2P has got way out the lines.

i wonder if they expect people to ACTUALLY buy it... people who download from there are not going to pay for any software anyways... if they can crack norton antivirus or some other $200+ software, how difficult can it be for a lousy $40 thing

I always get the pop ups, I personally wouldn't buy it. I am fine with free one. From the people I have spoken to, none of them would buy it either even though its only $40.

umm.. is the file 18 mbs?

 i didn't know you could download limewire pro!!

lol im going to go and download it now
thanks!

:/ just dl. It's the same as the free version except for the colors. lmao

haha... well.. if you have ethernet or T1/T3 connection... limewire pro downloads like super fast; probably 5 times as fast, but i donno if it makes a difference for cable/modem people.

btw it should be under 5 megabits

limewire fcked up m computer like none other. NEVER using that shiet again haha

lol Isn't ares better than limewire? oo; faster downloading?

regarding ares.......it was working perfectly for a while, but a couple months ago, it just stopped. When I search for songs, the search goes on indefinitely, and nothing is downloading. Does anyone know why this is happening, or how to fix it?

I personally do not like Ares... I'll just keep going with Limewire.

P.S. to whoever metioned the thing about cracking limewire: I downloaded the proversion off a crack site free, but I can't seem to find it anymore...

SUPPORT THE INDUSTRY!!!!!!

iTunes.

Don't steal music if you enjoy music.

iTunes supports the music distribution industry. The artists get a meager $0.09 on the dollar. I'm not trying to justify the use of P2P networks for illicit purposes, but iTunes is not much better. "Apple and the record labels handle the screw job for me." * In the end, I still don't own the music and the artists are still not paid fairly.

*Visit http://www.downhillbattle.org/itunes/ for more information

Winmx works great, although on the more recent popular music, you'll be harder pressed to find good copies.

hey guys i used to have this problem:

I clicked on a song to download and it downloaded really really really fast: like in 30sec. Then, when i played it, the song would be blank..
It'd play nothing for like 12min!
So I clicked on the same song, differnt user, and it did the same..
and this applied to about 5/10 songs..
That was on Kazaa and it's now fine on limewire.. but does anyone know what was happening? because it was REALLY annoying lol

Who the hell wants to support the music industry?! All they do is popularize the crap you hear on MTV and rip all of us out of our money. Buying from iTunes or buying albums hardly support the artists themselves (as somebody mentioned above), especially if they are under smaller labels. Your money ends up in the corporate owners' pockets, not the artist's. Furthermore, P2Ps have served to popularize many smaller and lesser-known artists and bands who do not have the backing of a major label (and don't get advertised on MTV/Radio).

Anyway, use Soulseek and DC++.
