I was just wondering what we can access for free (or with a discount) around berkeley with our cal ID card. I think we can access sather tower or campus museums for free (correct?) but is there anything else (like food, other places) that I can take advantage of while I'm here?

the bus system-although technically we pay a mandatory $68 or something class pass fee (might as well make use of it)

i have never heard of free food in berkeley

Club meetings have free food…

oh well that of course

what do you when you join a random asian club and they wonder what the heck a non-asian is doing coming meeting after meeting for with an inexplicable fascination with asianess, lol ;)

lol its expected for white males to have asian fetishes in Cal lol!

well yes there are clubs and stuff…i meant more campus/city stuff lol

let me guess u aren’t an econ major - ain’t no free lunch babe

however, here is something to look out for:

drinks: mope around telegraph and durant for drink promotion samples by coke, monster, or redbull. if you see a redbull mini cooper, go up and ask them for a redbull.

other than that no free food other than going to bobo the muffin man’s bbq grill and sitting on his lap in exchange for some free steak.

i’ll give someone a lap dance for free steak.

What about the free stuff that Berkeley students get? I think that the botanical gardens are free if you are a student. I think there are some other places like the museum in front of unit 1? Maybe lawerence hall of science but I’m not sure…
