Freshman Admissions Appeal...still waiting!

This is my first post, and I'm really just wondering if anyone else didn't get in to UT and appealed, and what you think my chances are of my appeal going through. Here's my situation

Here's what I originally sent in with my application:
- top 12% of my class
- 27 on my ACT
- wrote an essay about how I'm getting my eagle award
- In national honor society, varsity soccer, boy scouts, and HOSA

Since I submitted my application, I've had lots of "new or different information" which they said to submit in an appeal. Here's my new/different information

I have now achieved my eagle award

I got a job, and of a group interview of 8 people, I was the only one to get hired

I told them about how I was in an accident junior year and broke my leg and tore all my ligaments and had to have surgery and was out of school for weeks. I didn't include this in my original app because I wanted my essay C to focus on my accomplishments instead of being an excuse or pity essay

What do you think my chances are? I really want to get in! I've never wanted anything more in my whole entire life 100% hands down

also, I forgot to add that I retook my ACT and got a 33 on the math section, and that my GPA went up (slightly).

I also appealed my decision, sent it last tuesday, and I’m constantly checking my status. You’re new information is quite similiar with mine with the ACT and GPA deal. I also added in why I can contribute to UT Austin and how the university provides me with many opportunities.

Which schools did you guys apply to?

I applied to Texas A&M and University of Houston

Which schools/departments at UT Austin?

Haha yeah, that’s what I meant.

Ohh haha sorry! I applied to The College of Education and my major is Excercise Science.
