Because those California kids get one, I say we should too, for all of us that's appealing for fall (I'd even do summer, but that's WAY too late now)

It's pretty simple, just state your reason for appeal and what's in it.

Do you think appeals could work since people wont go to UT since the deadline was May 1? I would think spots could open up for those who dont go. Have you heard of anyone with a successful appeal?

my appeal got accepted and I'm not top 10%, I think I had an admissions guy vouching for me though, cause I met with him and he said I should appeal. I just wrote a 6 page appeal describing how wonderful I am.

wow thisisdavid! thats crazy that it was accepted. I may try to write a 3rd appeal haha. But right now i plan on doing austin community college a semester and transferring in spring. What did you write?? You give me some hope haha

once an appeal is sumbitted, does anyone know what sort of time frame you are looking at for a response?.. will they even let you know if your appeal is denied or you’ll only know if it worked if they accpet you? haha

also, is it better to wait until after orientation so I can discuss the situation with an advisor and, should the appeal work how will they let me know (admission status page, or…?)

thanks!

bump… searches have not turned anything up

I was also wondering if there was a deadline to appeal.
Tanks again

Bump
