Think critically about your question. Can you take an AP class and do regular work?

Obviously, the infrastructure is different for the honors class. It is a separate lecture; the content is more in depth and sometimes supplemental chapters will be covered.

There is a 'H' after the class name.
ex. Chem 20AH, Math 115AH

There will be Chemistry 20AH in the Fall; Professor Lin is teaching the course. There is no longer honors for the Math 30 series, however.

isnt chem20AH and chem20A the same? because i was told that the classes are the same between honors and nonhonors; honors ppl will just do extra work on the side...

also, are clusters considered as a class?

Clusters are a series of classes. They just occur in a 3-course sequence.

silly101, are you asking about honors classes because of the college honors program? if so there are soooo many ways to take honors classes i'm not gonna bother listing them all...
go here <a href="http://www.college.ucla.edu/up/honors/program.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.college.ucla.edu/up/honors/program.html</a></p>

and also, you need 8 honors units by the end of your first year. so no stress if nothing first quarter is honors. keep in mind that GE clusters count as honors credit if you get a B or better :)

How is the class the same when one class does extra work? The difference may be acceleration as well. The 20BH class averaged 1-2 chapters a week, while Baugh's 20B class was stuck on Lennard Jones Potential for almost 3 weeks (which was one section Ch.4).

well, if scerri had taught 20b, im PRETTY SURE we would have gone faster.

baugh taught 20AH and i heard that was really slow
