<p>Yeah, I applied for global cultures a couple days ago since it will be in the brand
new Longstreet-Means building and I heard that participation isn’t really that necessary. It sounded to me like you cam do as much or as little as you want. Plus, Longstreet has a type
of rooms (super suite doubles) that none of the other dorms offer as far as I am aware and they look amazing. They’re way bigger and have a complete bathroom with shower in between every 2 big rooms (so you share w/ 3 other ppl) haha. I bet the global cultures people are going to be the ones that get those bigger rooms, so I figured it was worth my time to put the effort into the app. Hope that helps haha</p>
<p>No, you’re not automatically guaranteed. There were a lot of people who applied last year (including me) who didn’t get the new dorms. But now since there are 4, you probably have a higher chance of getting one if the number of applicants don’t increase again…</p>
