Hi im just wonderin…just how much of impact does your freshman grades have on admin chances…? I hope to apply to number of UCs, Stanford, and some other IVY schools. But unfortunately I had a C in my 1st semester freshman year. everything else since have been straight As cept for one B in honors course. I replaced the C to A with community college course, but it still shows on my transcript visually although it doesn’t affect my GPA. does this kind of mistake hurt me badly? I know stanford and princeton doesn’t put too much importance on freshman grades, but they require you to turn in freshman grades, using them as sort of a reference.

<p>what if som1 gets a bad grade in the quarter report card but manages to pull it up on the sem. grade...does tht show?</p>
