I got into TCNJ and the honors program and Ive been looking into the housing info and I keep hearing about the towers and cromwell being the two places you will probably be placed. Ive heard that honors students are housed in cromwell but I was really excited about the towers and I'm not too crazy about suite living my freshman year. So my question is: if I'm in the honors program does that automatically mean I get put in cromwell or can I somehow choose not to? Its been bugging me a lot and I'm still deciding on a school so I was hoping someone on here could help :)

Nope, it depends on your FSP so it’s pretty much random whether you are in the towers or cromwell. I don’t think you can choose though.

Hi. My son is a freshman in the Honors program this year and is in Norsworthy and he loves it. He has several friends in the towers, but because Nors is smaller, they truly seem to have become a close knit family. Where ever you end up, you will be fine!

Glacius is correct, it depends on your FSP. My daughter is also a freshman Honor this year living in Nors and absolutely loves it. If you want Honors housing you need to select an Honors FSP. That being said, if you absolutely do NOT want to live in Honors housing just don’t select and Honors FSP. I believe they are planning to move Honors housing back to Cromwell this year since the renovations should be complete. Remember, it is not the housing, but the people around you that make the experience great or bad. The Honors class of this year happens to be terrific…
