is there any way that those who were not invited to enroll in an honors freshman seminar can enroll in them? because i heard somewhere that we can AFTER all the invitees take their picks. is this true? does anyone know anything about it?

what school are you in

steinhardt

micheeatsfish: your school's academic advisor takes care of freshman honors seminars. my suggestion is that you email him (or her?) or call the office asap. sooner the better bc the spaces are limited!
hope that helps.

hmmm...do people apply for freshman honors seminars at registration?

nope. they can't. it's by invitation only, which is why it's necessary for you to contact the academic advisor.

It's true that you can enroll in an honors seminar if spaces are still available after the invitees choose. But there is also truth in what hupkorea said. Your best bet would be talking it over with your advisor.
