I got accepted into Clemson and I am most likely going to attend. I applied fairly early so I should be able to get my first or second choice for housing. What do you think is the best housing option for freshman year?
Are you an engineering major? I’d try to get into the RISE living learning community where most of the engineering and science students live. It’s a great resource to have engineering upper classman close by to assist with homework and tutoring as needed.
I am an engineering major, but I am not really interested in a living learning community. I am a very social person and I don’t want to only have engineering friends. I want to have a diverse friend groups with some engineering friends so I can get help when I need it, but I also want just other friends from other majors. While I don’t plan to join a fraternity, I want to have the connections into a frat which I’m not sure if I can make in a living learning community of only engineers.
There are many engineering students that also belong to fraternities and sororities .
You’ll meet other people in your non engineering classes as well. Clemson is a very social school .
