@iubaccounting Is PSY-P 101 online class a live class? If not, what is it like? Do you log in anytime and complete assignments online?
@Apso555 It’s not live. You log in and complete the assignments any time. You schedule tests for times that work for you. You have to be in an empty room with your laptop webcam on for tests, and they are video proctored. The class is easy online or as a regular class and counts for natural science credit.
@iubaccounting what have you heard about e370? I’ve heard some pretty bad reviews so I’m a bit nervous? I’m going to be a freshman and this was one of the only classes that fit reasonably into my schedule.

@iubaccounting I am going to orientation next week, so I need some final thoughts on classes and schedules. Here is the schedule that I have come up with:
K204
W131
M118
T134
CLAS-C101
C106
A100
T175
PSY-P101
CLAS-C102
The other courses I am considering for the arts and humanities/world culture credit are: FOLK-F111, CLAS-C205, FRIT-M235. Let me know if any of these are better or if they are all notoriously bad.
I have one last question in this little spiel. I have some required business classes already scheduled (date, time, professor, etc) before I am at orientation. Do you know if it is possible to change those, as in move them to another semester, change the teacher or change the time?
@CTkid47 That schedule for 2nd semester only has 11.5 credits, and you need 12 to be a full-time student, which matters for keeping scholarships. Your choice of classes looks pretty good to me, but I would move T175 to first semester and add something else 2nd semester like K303/K304. I took CLAS-C 101 and it was fine, and haven’t taken any of the other gen eds that you listed. I would ask your adviser about the pre-scheduled classes. That’s really weird and I never heard of that happening for anyone until this year.
@iubaccounting Okay thanks for the heads-up. I am going to listen to what you said and move T175 to first semester, adding K304 to the second semester. I know I am not the only incoming freshman with scheduled required business classes, so maybe it’s something new that they’re doing. I would love to ask my advisor about it before-hand, but I don’t know who my advisor is yet. Is there someway to find out or am I just being blind and it says it somewhere?
@CTkid47 You will have a 1 on 1 appointment with an advisor during orientation to plan your schedule. I don’t think you have an advisor yet, but you could probably email the busadv@indiana.edu email and they’d explain.
@iubaccounting Okay, yeah I figured that was the situation. Well, I should be all set with my schedule help. Thanks a million for everything. This was a long thread with many questions, and I appreciate you taking the time to answer all of them.
You’re welcome. Let me know if you have anything else
