I'm currently a just graduated high school senior going to USC in the spring of 2014. For the fall, I wanted to not just go to my local community college, but rather study abroad so I could gain experience and also get better in French.
At first, I tried using the ISA program recommended on USC's website and was going to study for five months in Paris at the American Business School. Unfortunately, I decided not to because USC said they would not accept credit transfers from international institutions rather than accredited American universities. I wanted to get some of my GE and also language credits out of the way. USC said they would take credits for these GE and language credits at study abroad programs from accredited US universities such as NYU. However, I tried NYU and they said they would not take students who have not completed any college courses yet.

I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for certain university study abroad programs who would take a freshman from another university for only a semester in France.

Thanks
