Freshmen Contract

Alright so I got a email today and it had the contract and I was reading the conditions and as I feared, I came upon the one that said,

“Complete all senior-year courses as listed on your application with a ‘C’ or better.”

They said that if I do not meet the requirements above, I am subject to a withdrawal of my admission.

Ok I got my first D in math in the first semester of my senior year. I never got a D before, I never even got a C before in my four years in high school. It was the teacher honestly, I never blame the teacher, but this time I do.

Do you think they will really withdraw my admission all because of this one D (it was a 69, but that doesnt really matter cause its still a D…) ? My gpa before the D (grades 9-11) was 3.69. Now its 3.56 after first semester grades in 12th grade, But I am trying really hard to get good grades second semester.

IDK about you guys… but this is sounds more like a UC requirement…

I thought I might post this on here for some reassurance…
thanks guys.

The link to the freshman contract will not come up on our computer. Could you copy and paste it here so I could read it?

I would call admissions asap about the D and see what they say. Maybe there is something you can do to prevent getting rescinded. :(

Sorry i cant really copy and past it, its a pdf file, but if you give me your email, ill send you a picture of it.

And ya I left admissions a message, hopefully tomorrow i will find out.

Okay, well my friend told me that 2 of her friends were accepted to CPP, but then both failed their stats class (18% and 54%). They still let them go without rescinding their admission, so I think you might be fine. If they ask though, you should give them a good reason. I’m still iffy about it, so just double check. :)
