I was accepted today, and first of all I would like to congratulate everyone that got in. I have a question, since the 3.0 minimum GPA for the senior year is unweighted, do you think they will cut you any slack? I slacked the first semester and i might be a couple tenths of a point behind that, but I have 4 AP's and one regular. Do you think they might not cancel it because I have a difficult courseload, or will I have to get it back up to a 3. Damn senioritis.

I'm kind of in the same boat too. My UW GPA is a 3.57, but I got one D in AP Calc AB and then straight A's in 3 other AP classes and 2 very demanding electives (Journalism and Yearbook). The sad thing is, it wasn't senioritis. I am just really really bad at math. I dropped to regular Calculus for second semester and I'm struggling to pull a C in the class right now. :/ I'm just going to send a letter in ASAP and see what happens. As long as I can still go to UCI, I won't be too devastated. I could say I WAS accepted by UCLA.

You DROPPED your planned course on your application? Oh dear.

Oh dear.

On dear.

there is a link saying where to report course changes.

whoa...there is such thing as regular calculus?!
