<p>Yes, freshmen can have a car on campus. Only some colleges don’t allow freshmen to drive; UMD is not one of them.</p>
<p>Freshman parking is usually in the Comcast lot (you have to move your car before every home bball game). Unless you plan to drive home frequently on weekends, most freshmen don’t bring a car to campus. You really don’t need it.</p>
