So far, the only option I’ve found is SpartyPark. Even with this though, their website is down and they haven’t posted on FB or Twitter since 2014, the year it was started. Was that just a one-year thing or does it still operate?
If SpartyPark isn’t an option any longer, what are some other options freshmen have if they want to bring a car to MSU?
Do you really need a car freshman year? Freshmen are not allowed to have cars on campus. You can of course keep one off campus, but that’s a hassle too, especially if you can’t drive onto campus.
I know that they are not allowed on campus for freshman. That’s why I’m asking for parking lots/options that aren’t affiliated with MSU, like SpartyPark was. And as far as the need for a car, yes I can live without a car near me for the first year. However, if there is an option to have one the first year, I plan to take it
It is just an expense and a hassle. And everyone you know will want to mooch off you. Save yourself the trouble, leave it home. I know a lot of MSU students, including my nephew, and they didn’t have cars – did fine.
