so i was reading on the website regarding freshmen seminars that it was open for sign ups on the 19th,
"Freshman Seminars will be open for enrollment first to Freshmen on Wednesday, August 19 and open for enrollment to Sophomores as space permits starting on Wednesday, September 2. Freshmen may continue to enroll in Freshman Seminars after September 2, however, early enrollment is encouraged due to the small class size."

But the time of the sign up was never specified? Can we sign up at midnight? in the morning?

there isn’t a specific time you need to sign up for the seminars - they’re just saying that when they will be available by the time you sign up for classes.

yeah, freshman seminars are 1-unit classes that typically meet once a week and are taken pass/no pass. you don’t NEED to enroll in one, but it’s a good idea to - not only because some of them are actually pretty interesting, but it’s also a good way to rack up some easy units which will give you earlier enrollment times in the future.

here’s the list of freshman seminars being offered in the fall – [UCSD :: Undergraduate Seminar Programs](<a href=“UCSD :: Undergraduate Seminar Programs”>UCSD :: Undergraduate Seminar Programs) i took the reading television one, it wasn’t really what i was expecting from the class which sucked a bit, but we only met like 6 times so whatever. the beginning ukulele one is REALLY popular.
