fridge for rent from UCLA?

when do we get to rent a fridge for our dorm room? is there enough space in a triple?

when i visited everyone with a triple also had a microwave/fridge.

Yeah there's enough space. I wouldn't rent it though. I think it's like over a hundred for the microfridge.... you might as well just buy a nice big fridge for less.

do most people bring fridges/microwaves to dorms? i would imagine a microwave as being very useful for foodm, but id also assume that u'd need a fridge to store those cold foods.

Just to clear one thing up... free-standing microwaves are not allowed in the dorms. Soo.. if you really want a microwave you should get a microfridge. Though, there are microwaves in many of the common areas in the buildings so, there really isn't too much need for one in your room unless you're lazy and don't want to go down the hall to a lounge or search out the vending machine area (which many people sadly are.)

Well, you gotta admit. There are ways around room checks...

Haha... yup! Btw.... my roomie and I are lazy and don't use the microwaves in the common areas and we don't have a microfridge... if ya know what I mean.... wink wink (But shhh! You didn't hear it from me!)

standalone microwaves are not allowed...just like drinking is not allowed...

If they can't see it, they don't care.

the official stance of ORL is that as long as the door is closed and you aren't being too loud about it, drinking is allowed in the rooms. Gotta love that policy.
