My friend hasn't got his passport to write SAT....He says he will be getting it on middle of November .
So he is writing SAT on December and january........
I told him that Harvard nor Princeton accept SAT after December....
Is it true(of course I am applying before December)that they wont accept before january????????

BTW:I have heard many cases in India where people get accepted to write exam without passport but only with driver license and some other proofs.....
Can you guys tell what are the other proofs needed??.

PS:He is from Chennai.....Is passport compulsory there???

yes passport is absolutely compulsory. My daughter had to miss her’s because she was not carrying it on the day of SAT. She was carrying her school photo ID. But no way…

But since you have time try writing to College Board and say that you have applied for one and ask if they can help you out. By the way the passport rule was enforced as the only ID proof last year only and is applicable to our part of the world. Go figure…

LOL. I would not suggest “writing”. Call them up and they will reroute you diff call center ppls before you get to the right person. From there, things should be clear.
