Passport necessary?

<p>Hi, I just registered for the SAT in October. And is IT ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to have a passport? I have barely a month left and I am not sure if Ill be able to get a passport made so soon.
Could you guys help me out please ?</p>

<p>I think you can bring any form of photo ID (passport, drivers license, school ID, etc.). Just make sure you have at least one valid photo ID.</p>

And am sorry I am from India. Forgot to mention. It says on the CB site that i need a passport. :S

<p>Call the center in which you are going to take the SAT and ask them, write to the College Board. </p>

<p>Identification restrictions
Students from the following countries must present a valid passport as ID to be admitted for testing:</p>

<p>Ghana
India
Nepal
Nigeria
Pakistan</p>

<p>I think you should go to make a passport. There should be an option to make it faster with a certain fee. At least it is so in my home country.</p>

<p>Hi AimingAt750, thanks for the feedback. I am sure it is, but well it’s India, and the govt. controlled departments here are just too slow. The Govt. Here is famous for being slow and corrupt :stuck_out_tongue:

<p>yes, I am taking in October :slight_smile: and yes, I am aiming for 750 in CR and Math.</p>

<p>CR is a problem for me too. I seem to be stuck at 670-720 and am not moving any higher. <p>AimingAt750 : Gee I am languishing at ~650 in CR, thats how bad I am at it. Thanks for the thread link, I’ll check it out for sure :D</p>

<p>And I just applied for a passport, though they say it will take them 3-4 weeks atleast :(</p>
