Hell, everyone. I initially started my education at CSU and then transferred to CCC in my second semester and I will be applying for fo transfer next semester. Does the fact that I started my education at a 4-year institution lower my chances of acceptance?
From https://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/counselors/files/quick-reference.pdf page 28
A CCC transfer student is defined as having completed at least
30 semester (45 quarter) UC-transferable units at one or more
California community colleges and whose last college attended
in a regular session (fall/spring or fall/winter/spring) before
enrolling at a UC campus is a California community college.
so if you meet this definition you are a CCC xfer.
If you qualify for TAG be sure to use that to have an admit guarantee.
No attending a 4 year college at the beginning will not hurt your chances. As long as you have at least 30 semester units by the time you transfer from a CCC and a CCC is the last college attended during a regular session(Fall/ Winter/Spring) you get CCC priority.
