I took the SAT on June 1st and scored a 390 reading, 450 math, 500 writing. However, I did not at all prepare for this as I was studying for other AP exams this year (5 in total). I'm wondering if that high of a jump is possible, I plan to take it again in October/November + I did enroll in a prep class for the whole summer. I found the writing very easy (why I scored a 500) and I'm pretty sure I can get that to at least a 600 maybe 700. And reading... I really need to work on that!! I want to pull that up to 600+ also. Math I'm confident i can easily get a 600 if I do study and practice. Has anyone ever jumped that high? I mean I don't plan on having fun this summer.

P.S. If I do score much higher lets say maybe not 2000 but an 1800 instead, Will colleges think I cheated or something?

You’re an AP student and you got a 390 in reading? Not sure if you’re trolling, but this is very hard to believe. And 3 days ago you posted a thread saying “I took the Sat on the 1st of this month and scored a 1620.” Come on bro

I do think its possible but everybody’s learning curve is different.
My school isn’t in the accredited program so I will be taking SATII’s
we have something called early college, My school is an early college highschool
well thats the name of it.
remember math and writing is easiest to improve
reading is hardest to improve.
well generally speaking.

colleges wont think you are cheating

what grade are you in? its kinda hard to believe that an ap student is getting such low scores on sat

Didn’t you say that you earned a 1620 on another thread?

it’s definitely possible; in terms of number of points, I made a similar jump over a summer (in terms of grades on College Board practice tests, if that’s comparable). and colleges will likely not view it with any suspicion.
