<p>Right now I attend a community college in the state of Maryland. This upcoming spring semester will be my fourth semester. I have a 3.2 right now and 21 transferable credits. I will have over 30 by the end of spring semester. I have looked everywhere but I cant seem to find any information on how likely my credits are to transfer to south carolina. I have used the website collegetransfer.net but I am not sure how reliable it is. It says none of my credits will transfer. Most of my credits are gen ed/intro classes. Anybody have any experience on how well credits transfer from oos cc? I plan on moving to charleston and taking a year worth of credits at the cc there and then finishing off the last 50 some credits at U of SC. Thanks for your insight.</p>
<p>I plan to take some classes at a local college this summer before beginning my freshman year in college. I found the information online for most colleges sketchy. I called each one and they all had the same answer. I was told to send them a list of classes with descriptions that I was interested in taking and I would be told which ones would be accepted for transfer credit. Transfer credit is sometimes decided based upon your major though, so you may need to double check required courses for your major with that department. I do not want to waste money this summer on classes that will not transfer so I will be sending the information before enrolling.</p>
