I need advice.... is this a good plan:
I really want to go to the University of South Carolina, but I was only accepted into the Upstate campus not main campus. Also Im OOS.
Is it possible for me to load up on community college classes this summer (I have two community colleges near me I could attend) and then go to Upstate and take as many classes as I can and transfer to the main campus after the first semester?? (you need 30 credit hours to transfer)
Could this work?? If so, any advice on what classes to take at community college?

I wouldn’t recommend taking a ton of classes over the summer. Just take transferable classes (English, math, science, etc).

BTW, there’s nothing wrong with USCU. Half my family has gone there and loved it.

Do you need 30 hours when you apply, or 30 hours going into your first semester at USC? If it’s the former, then you should take CC classes this summer if you want to enter in the fall of your sophomore year. If it’s the latter, just make sure you’re taking 15 hours each semester at Upstate and you’ll be fine.

Why do you want to go to Upstate from OOS? I would save my money and just attend an in-state CC if your real goal is to go to SC.

I thought that you wanted to go to Boulder??

I am wanting to transfer to USC (Columbia) from my two year college. How hard was it for you to get in? What was your GPA?..if you don’t mind me asking.
