From undergrad to grad

Hi,
I am still a senior in high school, but it’s the time when you have to decide which college you want to go. I will major in biochemistry and apply for pharmacy school afterward. I don’t know if I should go to U of Houston because they already have pharmacy school, or go to UT Dallas (which I prefer). Do universities like to accept their own undergraduate students as part of their graduate program? in other words, if I study at U of Houston in undergrad, will it be easier fro me to get into U of H college of pharmacy? The reason I would like to go to UT Dallas is that it will make me more competitive and possibly help me get into a better pharmacy school.
If my wording is confusing, please let me know, and I really appreciate your feedback

You’d probably be better off posting in a forum more related to pharmacy - the grad school forum is more related to grad programs than medical professional schools, so this is out of most people’s wheelhouse here.

But I would take a step back and relax about grad school or pharmacy school. A lot can change in 4 years as to whether you’ll still plan to go to pharmacy school, let alone whether you’d be accepted at either of those schools. I would focus on picking the school that is the best fit (and affordable) for you, while offering opportunities to prepare to pharmacy school.

@nanotechnology OK I will take it into consideration! Thank you.
