Frontier, Middlebrook, or Territorial

Well, I'm 95% sure that I will attend the U over my other options and am now trying to figure out which hall to choose. So could someone give some insight on the pro's and con's of each?

One thing though, I know I want to meet a lot of new people/friends first year and I think I could achieve that easier in the super block as opposed to being on the West Bank. Is that true?

Everyone is different but D LOVES the SuperBlock and being in Territorial. Everyone is pretty social and it is in the thick of things. Plus the biggest concentration of freshmen are in the superblock so you might have the best chance of bonding with the people you are going to spend the next four years with and who are all ALSO at the same point of making all their new friends. Sometimes the superblock gets called the "party block" but my D has not found that to be the case. While she admits it is like a "slumber party every night" she means that as in she is with her friends every night talking and hanging out until they go to sleep. To party they go to Dinkytown or frats or apartments. She comes back to the dorm if she wants to "chill."

Make sure to use the roommate matching service(the long one with about 80 questions) too - D and her roommate are the perfect match and they used it(reluctantly at the urging of their mothers :) ). Everyone gets 20 different matches so the 20 you get will be different from what THOSe people are getting so YOU will have to contact those 20 and who knows how many people will have you on their list of 20.
