Hey for those Management students:

On the McGill Calender it says management students have to take the math 122 and math 123 courses- does anyone know what are they equivalent to ( like basic Calculus, advanced or whatever they're like) and what happens if we pass the entrance exams, do we get free credits or do we still have to some courses in lieu of that?
In addition, do we have to take the suggested 6 credits in Humanities/language and 6 credits in Social/Natural science? can we just take say, all 12 in Humanities/Language?
tks.

The two math courses for management are basically basic calculus, linear algebra, geometry, probability, all that crap. It's really easy. If you take the placement exam and place out of it you get free credits for it so you can take one less class or take an extra elective, although it will count on your transcript. I suggest you save the free course for later use. Don't use it in your first year because you'll want as many classes as you can to meet new people and first year management is really easy. And you have to take the number of electives they require in the area that is indicated.

TKS for your advice!
