xoxo

lol, your title made me laugh. everytime i see the "fsyou!" it makes me think of soldier boy, and i laugh out loud.

maybe i'm just lame :]

You can start gathering all of the items you will want for your dorm and classes (hopefully watch out for sales). Remember there is limited space, you will want to negotiate with your roommate so as not to duplicate appliances or maybe to color coordinate. Probably, you will return home for Thanksgiving so you can take home or get things after experience. You can always purchase items in Tallahassee but the stores are very crowded during move in days.

no..you're not lame.
i think of him too everytime i type that=]
wait..maybe we're both lame [lol]

but anywho..
i havent heard anything about whose gonna be my roommate=[
i was hoping they would have let me know by now..so i can start getting my things together!
hopefully in the next few days, i'll get something from them.

have anyone gotten anything concerning roommates yet?

Dorm info will not be until at least the first week in June. In fact, summer won't even be started for incoming freshman until tomorrow. With the fact they are opening two fewer dorms for summer, students have until today to still make changes.

what you mean by it wont be started for incoming freshman?
i got that email..but neither of those (the halls that wont be opening) were my choicees.

=]

I almost wish I was starting summer.

Nothing to do this summer, but get a job,i guess.

Welcome to the Tribe!

Let's see...based on personal observation, many students wear:

Jeans

T-shirts

Flip-flops

Socks (for use in winter, with flip-flops)

:)

wow..im what most ppl call a "sneaker head."
it's gonna be so hard to break out of that habit..loll
but flip-flops are good..
socks with flip-flops [haha]
im from south florida..so i know i am going to be freezing my butt off.
=[

and tomatoking..i thought your display name was to ma toking [wowww..shame on me]
but hmmm let's see..a job sounda good for the summer=]
get one that you know you're going to enjoy!!

I should mention most also have one or two heavy FSU sweatshirts. Winter can be cold, but layering is probably better than heavy jackets if you walk a lot.

yeah..that's anothr question of mine..
the shirts and sweatshirts..how much are they, typically?
i want one sooooo bad.
loll=]

but i hope they dont cost too much!

My son bought an FSU hoodie when we were there in March. It's awesome, with the large Seminole logo, garnet color, etc. It was $50, but very well made, heavy, washes great. I found this to be the same price or even cheaper than most hoodies.

oh ohk cool.
that's not too bad [lol]
goooo seminoles!!!

STEVE & BARRY's, BEALL's Florida, even Wal-mart, Dillard's and Cracker Barrel carry FSU logo items.

You can get everything including flip-flops, crocks, socks, PJs, undies, shorts, T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, golf shirts, caps, winter hats, quilts, blankets, car mats, mugs, dishes all with FSU logos.

imgonnabeanole

Welcome to the Nole family!

My d will be starting in August and can hardly wait to get settled into college life at FSU!

Also, for FSU apparel check sporting goods stores like Sports Authority. I found a great baseball cap for my husband there on clearance for only $9.

oh wow..$9!
cool=]
all of those places carry fsu things..
hmmmmm..that's awesome!
fsu is amazing.

and thanks skibird..
im just as happy as she is..if not happier since it's right around the corner!

I'm not even gonna lie..
I've been wearing this tie to work very frequently:Large Logo Silk Tie hahaha
