More INFO about FSSP

Is anyone going? What are the pros cons about going? Im not sure if I even want to go, but will appreciate any comments about it....

I remember one of the faculty members telling me because of the units you get from FSSP, you will have priority in choosing your classes. He also talked about getting a head start before all the other freshmen and being able to make a bunch of friends. For cons... I guess you'll get a shorter summer break.

priority registration! WOW!

I don't get how it works still. I sent in my registration paper and 200 dollar deposit, but does this mean that I am guaranteed a spot? When do we sign up for classes.

i recieved an email yesterday saying i got admitted, i mailed in my app on tuesday i think

you get an email in midmay i think about when you can register online on the GOLD website

what do you do about housing if you apply for FSSP

They put you in San Nicolas, but if there's not enough room they put students in San Miguel also. The ~$4,000 for FSSP covers dorm and food expenses.

i sent mine around the same time, why havent i gotten the email?

where you from? i sent mine from sacramento

from the LA area

i sent in all the required papers for FSSP, how come i didnt get anything yet?

idk, maybe it has to do with when you sent in your sir or something

I sent in my SIR about 3 weeks ago, and my FSSP papers about 2.5 weeks ago... didnt hear from them yet... I live in SOCAL

i didn't realize this thread was already here, otherwise i wouldn't have started one on the same subject. i just wanted to say that the program guy e-mailed me back and said that notices will be sent out tomorrow.
