thanks emilaybaybay!

no prob! :)

Alright… here I am again. My parents are notoriously bad with paperwork haha. English is their second language and those numbers get pretty complex for businesses. I don’t want to put them through another FAFSA. I’m pretty sure we don’t qualify for any financial aid anyway… is it possible to just skip that whole process?

^Yeah you don’t have to do it. You just have to do it if you want aid.

Archileta:

What classes did you take, how was the work load, & did you go home @ all during fssp? Thanks.

Yeah, is 12 units too much? I’m planning on doing 12 so I can try to get into the Honor’s program for fall 2009.

12 isnt much, but you’ll be studying a bit more than others so you might be inside studying when everyone else is playing

I did FSSP last year and it was seriously one of the best decisions I made going into college. It helps you get used to everything before the actual year starts and allows you to make a lot of friends so you aren’t friendless come fall. Besides, you get all your stuff moved into your fall dorms ahead of time and that was awesome. It’s sort of like a summer camp feeling.

For those of you that are going to FSSP, have you guys sent in your application and application fee yet?

^Yep! Did it pretty much right after I sent in my SIR.

Did you get a confirmation letter or notice of any kind that they received your application and payment?

Nope. But I know they got it, because I had to talk to the fin aid office about FSSP (I had a question via e-mail) and they said that they can see my name on the list for the program. So they have it…they will probably send an e-mail out to everyone sometime this month…a few weeks after the deadline to submit.

Oh okay! Thanks ((:
