FSU Account Refund Setup

Ok I've almost completed everything I need for the summer term but the only thing that's holding me up and it's the FSU Account Refund Setup.
I don't know which one would be best for me.
Anyone have any ideas...

what I know is that one is for it to be deposited into my FSU SunTrust Bank account. Does that mean I would have to get a SunTrust account can I use other banks such as I don't know Bank of America or something like that or is it better for the second choice to recieve it in a check or anything like such. I need your help please...anything is appreciated :)

thanks

FSU and SunTrust have an agreement. SunTrust is the official bank of FSU. They have a branch ON CAMPUS and you can open a FREE checking account, link your FSU card to it so it is a debit card, and you can get a free SunTrust Mastercard Debit card for the SunTrust account. It used to be the only account you could link your refund to, and I think that is still the case.

When money is refunded at the beginning of the term, on the day after drop/add, usually on Fridays, the money shows up and is available the following Monday in the SunTrust account. The website says that if you want a check instead, it takes up to 3 weeks. But a student posted last term that the check arrives in a week not three. So you can just have one account and wait for the check.

So basically the best one is having it deposited to my FSU account

For immediate use of the money, yes. You get an email about the deposit on Fri and there it is in the account on Monday. One business day and the money is yours.

ok thank you you were a real help.
