I'm currently a college student who will have 31 hour at the end of this semester with a 4.0 gpa. I'm a member of Phi Theta Kappa and my college's Honor Society. My question is concerning admission to Florida State University.
I know of many colleges who offer conditional acceptance (like a probationary term) to students who are in good standing and interested. Does Florida State offer anything equivalent to what I'm talking about?

I do not have SAT/ACT scores but I know some schools will conditionally accept you while you take these tests.

I don’t know about the conditional acceptance but I don’t think they’ll accept you on something like that. I do know that unless you have 60 credit hours you need to send your high school transcripts and your test scores. Don’t quote me on that but that is what I’ve been told.

By Florida law, to be admitted to a Florida public university as a freshman you MUST take either the SAT or the ACT and get a minimum score:

SAT - 460 CR, 460 M and 440 W
ACT - 19 R, 19 M, 18 E/W

This is the minimum mandated by law, and FSU cannot admit you as a freshman if you haven’t taken either the SAT or the ACT and scored at least the minimum by law. However, FSU can and does require higher scores to get admitted to FSU as a freshman.
