I applied for the first deadline and was deferred. My original term applied for was summer. My high school weighted gpa is a 4.7 and uw is a 3.5. I'll be graduating with an AA degree so I've taken plenty of classes with academic rigor. I have a 26 super scored ACT (28 on math, English, and science with a 20 in reading). I'm in the top 4% of my class (total 576 students). They told me I was deferred because of the fact that one of my ACT scores was below the minimum (reading), and that my senior schedule was weak. I changed my senior schedule to make it as challanging as possible (16 college credit hours). I also retook the SAT and ACT to try to raise my reading score, but I couldn't get it above the minimum. I have many extracurriculars and volunteer hours. I was in shock when I was originally deferred but I understand why due the "minimum" test scores. Can anyone share any knowledge about how strict fsu is with their minimum test score requirements, or if you have any similar experiences with FSU. Is there anything I can do before the next notification date to increase my chances of getting?
