FSU Spring 2012

Anyone else accepted to FSU for Spring 2012?

I'm not sure what to do till January. Maybe TCC for a semester but off campus housing seems hard to find for one semester.

whaat are your stats? have you applied yet?

and please help me with mine:
i applied to FSU for fall 2011 as a freshman, but didn’t get in. My GPA at the time was a 4.2, and my ACT score was a 22, but i think my math score was 1 point below the required score you had to have to be considered.

i’ll be taking classes at either a community college or at USF st. pete in the fall and retake my ACT in september. i really want to transfer the spring of 2012, but would i be able to send in my grades in progress from the college i’m attending by November 1st? and does it raise my chances since i’ve already applied?

i’m only going to do this if my ACT score is at least a 25, because i have to meet freshman requirements as well as have a good college GPA.

oh, btw, i’ll have about 18 hours by december done if you’re counting AP credit

They will likely not consider your application until final grades are on the transcript from fall and submitted for consideration. There is no such thing in college as “grades in progress.” Until it is on a transcript it is not considered.

Call and ask admissions. They might give you a decision over the break between fall and spring, but likely you will be looking at summer 2012 or fall 2012 as the earliest you can enroll. Now, had you taken 12 hours of credit over the summer and had an ACT score from fall, they would have considered your application for spring without fall final grades.

i can still apply to transfer. i talked with admissions. i can send a partial transcript from my college when i finish my application  i’m excited to get down to work to be a NOLE! now looking at my HS stats do you think i’ll have a good chance of getting in? i’ve taken like 10 ap classes, but i had a few d’s my senior year and 1 F, but it didn’t bring down my GPA too terribly. it’s still 4.2 W/ 3.1 W. i’ve had steady A’s and B’s freshman thru junior year.

and i’m retaking my ACT
