Hello, im currently enrolled at palm beach state college. i will have 45 credits by the end of my spring semester with a 3.5 plus GPA. I will have completed all the pre reqs for the psychology program at the end of this semester including the 2 units of english and 2 units of math that are needed to off set my SAT scores in high school.

What are my chances of getting in? i keep hearing people get accepted without thier AA degree if they get good grades, and so far i have been doing really well, but need to transfer out by fall of next year. Please help me out with some advise.

For you to be accepted without your AA, you need to meet all of the transfer requirements as well as the freshman entrance requirements. It’s also much more difficult to get accepted as a lower division transfer than it is to be accepted as an upper-division transfer, which is why it is highly recommended that you just finish out getting your AA.

I think you could get in, but again, since you have to meet all of FSU’s freshman and transfer requirements if you don’t have you AA (assuming this hasn’t changed recently), then it’s almost impossible to say, given simply what you posted, whether you would get in or not.

You might as well get your AA, it’ll make your time at FSU shorter and cheaper. Why would you want to pay over $100 per credit hour just because you can’t wait to transfer. Get your pre-req’s done at a cheaper rate.
Also yes they can accept you before you earn your AA, but you need to have earned it by the time you start taking classes.
Like I received my AA in May and was accepted in February for Summer Term.
Also it’s not the end of the world if you don’t get into FSU b/c I know Psychology is Limited Access so there is a chance you may not get accepted. This place is overrated there are many other Uni’s to apply to in the state that are just as good.
