Has anyone had to use it to request changes on their application? It states that it will take 3-5 business days to update.

Here's our dilemma. My son started filling out his application last month, using my computer with my email so this is how the account/application is identified.

Comcast, somehow, lost my email address or gave it away. It's a long story & no need to go into it here, but my email address has been changed.

So, I'm guessing that since the app. is filed under an inactive email address, we need to update this with the new email address, and use the online change form.

Has anyone ever had this situation before? The online application goes live on Monday and he was hoping to apply the first day.

Of course, I wish I had realized this a few weeks ago when Comcast screwed up and not a few days before the app. is due. So much for being obsessively organized and confident that he was getting his app. in asap!

i have an offtopic question for you, what is your son applying for? like what term
?

Summer Term C; cello performance and music therapy.

I recall my D applied with her ususal email account, and then she decided to have a separate one for all college stuff, so she sent in a change form. There were places where it did not "appear" to change, but all communication after that did come to the corrected email address.

In this case, I would have your son fill out a change form online, and EMAIL admissions with the fact that the first email address was deleted or reassigned by your provider so that they have a separate notification. If you have had any communication with admissions and have had an email from an address other than the general address, I would advise using the contact person's email address for this. Otherwise just use the general one. They will respond either way if you ask for a confirmation. Then I would just submit the application online as you normally would have.

I think that if they still use the email address as your son's sign-on ID, that that does not change at all. It's just your assigned ID. If you change the email address, your sign in stays the same but they will communicate with you via the new email address. Does that make sense?
