Full ride into UC Berkeley or MIT?

My family is low-class. I was born in Asia and came to the US when I was still practically a baby with my parents. I'm the only child, first to go to college. I'm a sophomore in high school, and my grades are good (All A's) in AP classes. I plan to major in Business, my top choices are UC Berkeley and MIT. If I don't get a full ride into these schools and ONLY get acceptance, I'll probably have to stay in state and go to UT Austin (which is a great business school). However, I'd prefer to go to UC Berkeley or MIT for many reasons, but money is just an issue. Any thoughts or opinions?

Get back to us in 2 years. You’re just a sophomore.

FYI: UC Berkley will give you little or no financial aid or merit aid as an Out of State Student. You would on the hook for $55K/year if you chose to attend. If you need a full ride, there are several threads in the Financial aid and Scholarships tab on this website. All you can do is work hard, maintain that GPA, study for the SAT/ACT and continue with your EC’s. Repost at the end of your Junior year and then you will get some constructive feedback.
