My parents and I are gonna be in San Diego tomorrow.
We have Saturday from 7:00am-2:00pm to do whatever we want.
We cancelled Sea World because thats just a waste of money if we cant stay for the entire day. Was that a bad decision?
Do you guys have any recommendations of what we should do?

Well, Sea World is pretty expensive. Other attractions include the Wild Animal Park, and presently the Star Trek exhibit is visiting the San Diego Air and Space museum in Balboa Park.

costco, walmart, IKEA - take advantage of having a car while you can!

(and go eat at places that you normally can't get to without a car)

Yeah Sea World really isn't that great considering the price. I think it's better going to the famous San Diego Zoo instead because it's a lot cheaper I think(idr last time I went was like 4 years ago)

24.50 SD Zoo admission and there may be a discount at Price Center, too (don't quote me on that)

Balboa Park has a lot of free/cheap exhibits and museums open to students and sometimes to the general public

Some of my friends went kayaking in Mission Bay with their parents.

And astrina alluded to, EXPLOIT your parents' resources while you can! :P

i agree with astrina!!
and if you still have some time you can go to downtown la jolla or the beach

Look for a place to live in 2 years? They still kick people out after two years, no?

not that im aware of.

of course they do ... for the non-scholarship-inclined, at least.

Wait, there's a scholarship to keep your place?

Who's it sponsored by? The hobo foundation?

Hobo foundation= Regents Scholarship and Chancellor's scholarship...

Although the best perk from those scholarships are priority enrollment times... They're the best =)
