Tulane is great, but I'm keeping wondering about the job opportunity after graduated from Tulane. Is New Orleans hospitable to foreigners? Will a young guy majored in Engineering find his chance in LA or in other states or out of America after four-year study in Tulane? Thanks really for any help!!

Well, Louisiana elected a first generation immigrant from India as governor. I think as long as you come across as a fairly normal human being (and in New Orleans, God only knows what that means) and are nice to others, you will be accepted just fine.

My father has assisted a undergrad civil engineer graduate from Tulane (she was on a DOTD internship). So yes, after graduating from Tulane you should be able to find a job.

Of course, civil engineering is no longer offered by Tulane. If you’re going to Tulane, I assume you either want to do biomedical or chemical engineering, right? I don’t think Tulane offers civil or mechanical engineering anymore.
