I’m currently a grade 10 student in Alberta who plans on going to UBC for my masters in political science. However, i’ve always been pretty confused on how acceptance rates go. I’ve heard that for quite some years, the science branch has only been accepting students with 94% and higher in the sciences. Would political science be included into this too? I’ve also heard the actual grading in general at UBC is quite hard, as opposed many other Canadian universities. Is this correct? I am also in IB if that contributes to anything. Any other comments and additional information would be greatly appreciated too. Thanks in advance!
Thanks again!
