Didnt get into stony this year
but im planning to transfer after next year
Currently Im planning to go to Baruch for the first year
I checked on the website and says I need 24 credits in order to transfer without HS records.
So if I obtain 12 credits on fall term, then another 12 on spring term. Will I be able to apply for fall 2013?
Also
what classes should I take so that all or almost all of my credits can be transfered over?

Hey Belmus. From what I know you need 24 college credits and a 3.0 GPA to get accepted as a transfer student without proof of any high school information. But I also believe you need 24 credits at the time of application. So for example, if you have 12 credits entering your Spring 2013 term and plan to apply during your Spring semester they might require you to wait until you finish. However, I’m not sure. Call admission or wait for Chris to reply. Good luck.

Okay, Ill check on that
Also
I checked that Baruch does not have the major I want apparntly CollegeBoard listed that it does, but it really doesn’t.
So I’m in a tight situation atm
Any ideas to what classes I should take so I dont waste one year in college?

I recommend you take introductory courses at Baruch. You might want to take an intro to Art, History, English, Communication, Political Science, Math, maybe a Science, etc. Those courses are core requirements in any college that you attend or even pre-requisites depending on your major.

What do you mean by core requirements?
sorry I’m new to these college words

Core requirements are mandatory courses every college students takes usually during their first two semester.
