G-Burg v. Union

got into both but not sure which I like better. any ideas?

Union is in NYC - prime location for recruitment

Businessweek just came out with an article on the earning potential of college graduates and Union ranks in the top 25 in the country.

“All of the Ivy League schools made the top 25. Other colleges on the list include Colgate, Stanford, University of Chicago, Bucknell, Georgetown, Notre Dame, Union College, Lehigh, Villanova, Vanderbilt, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Duke, New York University, and Rice.”

Union is not in NYC it’s in Schenectady, NY, near Albany, several hours north of Manhattan.

It’s a small liberal arts college, like Gettysburg, just a little smaller. Other than that I don’t know enough about Union to pinpoint any differences.

^ I actually meant to say NYS. My bad

Union is a more male oriented place, lots of engineers. But both are
huge drinking frat type places with largely the same white upper middle
class suburban clientele. Really the differences between most of these
mid range lac’s are pretty modest, you’re going to see the same kind of
kids. They offer a good education but all lack racial and economic diversity.
As a international I would be concerned about the homogenous atmosphere
at most LACs.

Union has more diversity than Gettysburg, international kids that is.

thanks for the input! G-burg gave me a heck of a lot better aid and i’m seeing it this weekend so hopefully, I’ll love it haa
