<p>I got it, but I'm kinda disappointed. I thought GMS would pay off the whole tuition. Instead, it only pays off loans, work study, etc. (NOT EFC) and for me, that only totals to $1000. I already have scholarships from elsewhere and all my non-grant items have been paid off with the scholarships I won. </p>
<p>Columbia is very stingy. I can't deduct from my EFC until my Columbia Grant is eaten away. Thus, applying to scholarships is pretty much pointless for me now.</p>

<p>yeah i agree with you i need all the help i can get and if i do get it it will pay for about 42 k since my efc is 0 and all iam getting is a 3 k pell grant so i want it now!!! oh and mdtracie someone i know called the office and they said that last batch of letters were sent out today so u should hear in the next few days! <p>hey any one got more info on the conference this fall? I got a letter saying i got it. but no other info.</p>
<p>I got an email yesterday. It was pretty redundant because I already knew I got it. </p>

<p>Maybe info on the conference will be in the letter. If not, I'm sure they'll be emailing us soon.</p>

<p>Has anyone else not heard anything at all? I have not gotten an email or anything else from them. The lady at Gates assured me that all the letters went out on or before Tuesday but still I have not heard anything at all.</p>
