Nah, I'm under the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and I haven't heard anything yet either. Anticipation.....

Was your userID a six-digit number?

The letter says "The scholarshp can be renewed...each year thoughout your undergraduate career and onto graduate school in select fields identified by GMS"

Do they provide financial assistance for grad school in the same manner as they do for undergrad? Also, is grad school financial aid packaging similar to that of undergrad?

yeah my id is six-digit number, but i still couldn't log in, could anybody?

i can log in. i changed my login-name and password a long time ago though.

i got my rejection letter today

sorry bout that...i know that really sucks. hang in there- theres something else out there for you.

sa_town: were you not eligible for a pell grant?

I got it!!! But I cant log in....whats the deal??

i got it!!!!

congrats!

Can you log in?

I am so excited!! i got it today..i am under the Hispanic scholarship fund, so for those of you under the same organization, hang in there :)

Hey can any of you log in? I know Caballero05 asked the same thing, so i assume many of us havent been able to log in..let me know, thanks

Congratulations!

i havent had a problem at all logging it.

i cant log in either

Email or call the people at your organization, maybe they'll send you a new password. Somehow they knew I couldn't log in without me saying anything, and emailed me a new one.

no i got the full pell grant...maybe its that my school gave me a lot of money...i dont know

I didn't get the scholarship either and am really upset. I know for a fact it was the pell grant ineligibility and it makes me really angry to think that an otherwise excellent candidate for GMS is denied because the efc is a couple of thousand over pell grant eligibility.

It is not simply resentment but rather a question to the narrow guidelines under which GMS functions. I understand that in order to give out the large amount of money they do every year, the GMS needs an efficient device for calculating need, but I feel that "need" could be much better analyzed on a case by case basis and that this "pell grant eligibility" requirement excludes many whom would otherwise benefit.

I am also disappointed by the current Administration's attempts to undermine efforts like the Pell Grant. Instead of "spinning" its new financial aid initiatives, the federal government could stand inject into its programs many more funds and to redefine the guidelines by which it gives aid.

Ya, I finally got my letter today, but I can't log in, so I'm not sure what the problem is but whatever. Logging in is the least of my worries at the moment.
