<p>Check the campus organizations on the UW website- Google the terms for UW. A large public college campus will have all kinds of people. Freshmen especially will more reflect their high school personas before they have a chance to learn about others and expand their horizons. There is a place for liberals and conservatives at UW.</p>
<p>I can’t directly answer all your questions. I asked a gay friend of mine and he believes that students have been accepting of him and has experienced no issues.</p>
