GE/ Pre-reqs... !!?!? IGETC?!?!?!

<p>Okay so, I thought I was certified for IGETC, but now, I'm not so sure.</p>

<p>For the Social Science Section, I think Area 4 for IGETC, we're supposed to finish 3 classes right? Well, I picked Sociology, Political Science, and the two Econ classes. Sooo I have 4 classes right? </p>

<p>The thing is, I'm an econ major and the econ classes i took are considered to be my Pre-reqs. Does this mean they WON'T count towards the 3 classes for AREA 4? Which means, I'll only have 2? or does it overlap? i dont get.</p>
