discovery of compass...not only physics, but was invented during the renissance period in which philosolical aspects were implement to individualism
-development of firearms..also physics and also, the technology aspect in understanding war tactics..hydrogen bomb --> nuclear weapons

I had no idea what to put..but I used these examples

the examples are nice, if you backed them up well and explained them well, i think you should get atleast an 11. from the looks of your "outline", it looks good.

Um.. are we talking bout the same essay prompt; cause it seems to me that the one I got, didn't really apply to the examples that you're giving, although I'm probably mistaken.

I think I did pretty badly on the essay too; I simply cannot write about science or technology. So instead, I focused on the "social innovations" of blacks following the Civil War. Through a series of efforts, blacks were focused on only one goal and that allowed them to achieve full civil rights in the end. I also talked about the Bessemer steel converter and the American railroad. Saying how determination in the steel/railroad industry led to expansionism within the American continent.

Do you guys think these are alright? =/

This was my first SAT, I don't think I did TOO badly on it but I certainly could have done better. I was reaching for 2300+ but now am just hoping for 2200+.

Ok, now I'm getting confused; my essay prompt was about mistakes committed, how does that figure with these? or do we all have different essays?

I wrote about how my passion developed not through music itself (playing the violin) but through reading books about composers and pieces, so in a sense it was the subject of literature that influenced me to develop my passion. Does this follow the prompt at all?

I thought this SAT was very easy compared to some of the tests in the blue book. No that the blue book tests were hard, but the maths ection in the actual SAT was definitely easier.

really, you're the only one who thinks so seth blue, it was easy, but compared to the questions in the blue book, it was a lot harder, especially the grid in section.

Math.... easy, I successfully checked over each section at least three times.

Critical Reading, easier than what Princeton Review had, or it could just have been from my vocab. binge last week..

Writing... for the essay, showing off my science-geekiness, I wrote about Einstein & Edison and how they each focused powerfully on one goal & had very effective results. Grammar, one section was kinda hard, the others were easy.

Feb. 13 can be good or bad... Thankfully, it isn't Friday the 13th. :)

I agreed with the essay I talked about scientific discoveries in the tweentieth century, specifically the Manhattan Project an Watson+Crick. Whatya think?
