I scanned a pic and put it into a document... Problem is the document's file size is 2 large.... DOes anyone know how i can reduce the size of the file?

bumpp-anyone?

Copy and paste the picture to Microsoft Word or whatever writing program you have. Then, go to File-->Save As and in the pulldown menu for what type of file to save it as, select whatever they tell you on the application. I think that .txt is one of the options. If you cannot find that, I think that you can just save it as a Microsoft Word Document. Good Luck.

The picture will have to be small, but when you crop, don't use Microsoft Word to do it. Crop on Windows Photo Editor or Photoshop, and make the picture SMALL. Also try resizing/repixelating on whatever photo editing program you have.

Don't spend too much time on it. Worry about that app.

how big of a picture are you trying to put in there?! the limit is like 250 kb, you could fit a few mid quality jpg files in that. dont try to scan full quality that makes the file huge.

if you have photoshop, save as jpg and choose a mid quality (the quality is not bad at all) if you have fireworks then choose 90-92 quality for jpeg file. (I suggest using fireworks if you have both, way easier to use for a simple edit)

if you need anymore help with reducing the size pm me.

oo kk i see what i did.... my scanner was set on automatically scanning at max quality.... I just had to change it to medium..... thanx for all the advice
