General question on transferring

I'm currently at a cc, and looking to transfer to a university in accounting or finance. However, in the "choose a major" section of the applications accounting and finance are nowhere to be found.

Berkeley, for example, has the Haas School of Business and then "Business Administration" as the only selectable major.

Basically I'm just confused since there is no accounting or finance selection, and i know Berkeley is a top 5 in finance. Like, do I just select business administration because finance is a subset of that or something?

I guess i'm kinda confused on how the whole process works. Like do I just select whichever major is closest to finance or accounting, and then when you're actually AT the school you pick your specific major?

Haha I hope this makes sense and someone can help me asap.

Thanks guys!

I would call the school and ask.

@ALefty Hi i’m sorry i am unable to answer your question. I’m experiencing the same problem too and would like to know if your questions were answered.

I’m planning to transfer from a CC to any UC schools which offer Accounting/ Finance majors and I can only find 2: UC Berkeley with some Lower Division Business Admin (BS) and UC Irvine (BA).

So i guess now i’m just aiming to transfer to either schools and take the necessary steps to get there.

How bout you? have you transferred out yet?
